What is a sociological view of motivation and learning in education ??

1. There are a few ways to look at it. You can take a perspective that education is a tool to improve standing in society, ex. a masters degree more respected than a high school diploma. The other way to look at it is as a way to climb the social and socioeconomic ladder if the education provides access to a job or opportunity to elevate social class.
